How to obtain a new product key for Office program setup
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;823570
(The store where you bought it can't do a darned thing to help so don't even
try. It'll be a waste of your time. And I'll bet you have as little of that
as I do.)

Recently I had to re-install Windows on my computer. It somehow erased
everything on my computer. Luckily, I had done an NTBackup and was able
to
retrieve my pictures and music, etc. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to
retrieve my Word application files. (I have some of them, but it says
"This
software has not been installed for the current user. Run setup to
install
the application" when I try to open Word from those backup files). I
have a
CD I got from the store I bought my computer from. It's called MS Words
Suite 2004, but has Word 2002 on it. I have the CD in the case it came
in,
but there is no Product Key. Should I call the store where I bought it
from
or is the key somewhere in my ntbackup? Thanks!
