Insert the PDF as an object into the Word document. Superimpose textboxes
for the data you want to enter.

Can a PDF file be inserted to a Word document in one layer, such that one
can
type to it in a different layer?
I've received a copyright form, a .PDF document, which as such cannot be
easily edited. I am supposed to fill, sign and return the form. Just for
curiosity, can I fill the form on a computer, rather than printing the
form
and then typing to it on a typewriter? If I insert the form as a graphic
for
instance, then I could type on top of it, which would suit me just fine.
Is
it possible and if so how, or is there another way to do this?
