Thanks for trying to help with this Herb. When I save to the local drive it
does allow me to resave and does not identify the document as read-only. When
I save it to the network it doesn't open up with a warning that it is a
read-only document (unlike templates that I have consciously saved as
read-only and open up with that warning that it is a read-only file), but
when someone tries to make changes to the document, it alerts them that it is
read-only. Also, the header identifies the document as read-only. We are a
small nonprofit and I am both the Executive Director and the Network
Administrator!! I wish we had someone more technologically savvy than me on
board, but the buck pretty much stops with me!
