Balloons Won't Print in Portrait

Hello--Can you please help me on this: I have a Word document that we
received by email which was made using the track changes feature. I can't
get it to print in Portrait Layout and still show the balloons. The only way
it will print balloons is if it is in Web layout and with Landscape Layout
chosen. I do have balloons enabled in Tools-Options-Track Changes; "print
document showing markup" is showing in the print dialog box; and the
reviewing toolbar has "final showing markup" chosen.

Have I missed something?

Thank you kindly!
