Re: Copy picture from internet into Word document

Howdy Blushu,

When you copy and paste an image from a web page, could you provide details on how you do it and what browser you are using? For example, if you go to Google's site and attempt to paste their logo into your document, what process do you use (Right-click, copy image, etc...)? I gave this a spin in Word, and I did not have a problem. Provided there isn't something else wrong with your computer or Word, perhaps there is a step you are missing along the way.

Here is another check for you. Right click on Google's logo and select "Save Image As..." and save it to your desktop (or where ever you choose). Then, go to Insert > Picture > From File and browse to your image and insert it. Do you see the image, or only the frame?

Thanks.

Go to Tools > Options. Under the View tab, look for "picture placeholders." If it is checked, uncheck it an see if that does it for you. If not, post back.
