I have the missing entry in my copy of Word 2003, and the filter I detailed
is the one that actually performs the conversion, but it is not clear what
triggers the entry in the file list. Even with all the textconv filters
removed, the entry is still present, as is the case with the registry entry.
If I locate the trigger, I'll let you know, but the bottom line is that it
is possible to get it to work.
