Scenario Overview:
We are upgrading our Word automation application from Word 97 to Word 2003
and are finding several inconsistencies in behavior.
When modifying an existing style the font name on the Font dialog box does
not match the font name on the Modify Style dialog box. Note: this is
different behavior from Word 97. Our clients are accustomed to the behavior
in 97 and due to this they do not pay particularly close attention to the
subsequent window and therefore do not notice that the font they are altering
is not the one that they originally selected to be modified. We can train
them on this, but it would be nice to see the same default behavior as in 97.
 Is this a defect?

Scenario Detail:

>From the Styles and Formatting task pane right click on a style name and
select modify. Note the font name in the Modify Style dialog box and then
click on Format | Font to bring up the Font dialog box. The font name does
not carry forward correctly (therefore the user is actually modifying a
different font then they believe they are, unless they pay close attention to
the font name). If a change is made to font size and then OK is clicked the
font name is changed when you return to the Modify Style dialog box.
