Word's Recent list fails to show paths

I have Office Professional 2000, SR1-SP3 on a stand-alone
PC running Windows 98SE.

In Word 2000 ther_e is a list of Recent files from_
the 'File' drop-down menu. Rarely this list shows the
names of files AND their paths, but usually it fails to
show their paths.

How can I get Word to always show the PARTHS on its Recent
file list?

Any suggestions g_ratefully received.
