"That path is Documents and Setting/Jim/Local Settings/Temporary Internet
Files/OLKB. However, in Temporary Internet Files there is no OLKB or
anything like it. " (this is the default temp for files opened in MS IE or
OE. Netscape and others use a different location.
Depending upon how you have the settings for both Internet Explorer and
Windows Explorer?
These types of files may not show "IF" you do not have Windows Explorer set
to "Show Hidden Files and Folders."
Internet Explorer has a setting where "Temp files" may be deleted upon
closing. It's not the default however many people use it.
Open Windows Explorer
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Tools
Folder Options
View
Scroll down to the 10th line and tick/check "Show Hidden Files and Folders"
Ok yourself out and refresh screen (F5)
If you haven't or don't clean this folder regularly, it is possible to have
THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of files there.
And the task of finding the one you desire could be daunting. If, that's so
you might try sorting them by date or name or file type to enhance your
view.
