Hyperlink Finger in Word 200 Web Pages

When I create web pages with Word 2000, the image hyperlinks I add never change to the "pointer finger" when you mouse over them. They still work if you click them, you just don't get the finger for the user to know it is a hyperlink. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help.
