Adobe installs a copy of the file in a sub folder of
C:\Program Files\Adobe\ - I have Acrobat 6 here and the folder information
is different.

By default the install routine should put the file in the folder C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE\STARTUP, but if an earlier version of Word
than 2003 has not been installed, then this folder will not exist. Acrobat
install will not create the folder. If you upgrade an earlier version of
Word with Acrobat 5 installed, the Word update will move the add-in to the
correct folder.

You should also be able to extract the file from the install disc CAB file.
