I found ACT's Word interface to be a horrible cludge. It seems bizarre that
ACT makes no attempt to use the functionality already present in Word
(bookmarks, properties, merge) but instead wrote their own half-baked
'field' methods and even their own document format. If you know any VBA,
it's easier to work the other way round: through VBA you can access the ACT
database and retrieve any details you like, add the document to the contact
history, etc.
