Admin Rights take away ability to perform spell check?

Situation:

We take away users local admin rights to a workstation so they cannot make harmful changes to that workstation.

Problem:

Microsoft Word seems to disable the spell check option when this is done. If we give the user their admin rights back, they are able to spell check again.

Any ideas?
