Re: Word 2002 font dropdown list

AHA ! I believe I have effected the change. Far simpler, IF one checkmarks
the "Always Trust Microsoft". *ggg* Then the Word Options and Equation
Editor Options tabs readily appear, which then enables one's implementation
of the desired option.
Then one need not get into any extreme depth with macros as was necessary
such as when I added a "Scan with AVG" Toolbar Button to Word / Outlook...

I must say that MS presumes a bit and doesn't explain each and every detail
as one (I) might have hoped.

At any rate Suzanne, I sincerely thank you for your assistance. It proved to
be both vital and accurate and has been 100% successful (I've tried it and
examined the results and they are just as I wanted.)

With kind regards,

It helps if you know that this is called the "font MRU list." See the KB
article "How to install and use the Support.dot template in Word 2002" at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=289506. This template includes a macro
called RegOptions that allows you to easily change a number of Registry
settings, including NoFontMRUList. See also "How to use the Registry
Options
(RegOptions) macro to examine Word settings and to make changes to Word
settings in the Windows registry" at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318796.
