I'm sorry I have not been clear. I guess I don't have
the terminology correct. At the top of my MS Word window
(screen) there are several icons. I clicked "Tools"
then "Customize" and added and deleted several icons to
assist im creating Word documents. When I use my laptop
and I click on the "Tables and Borders" icon a toolbar (I
think that's what it's called) appears and I am able to
change the line style, the line weight, shading, border
color, etc. When I click on the "Tables and Borders"
icon on my PC, I do not get the same toolbar. When I
click on the icon, a second line of icons appear (I'm not
sure whether it's the task bar or the toolbar. The
toolbar (thing at the top of the Word window) has some of
the following icons on the top line...icons for the
following: open file, close file, printer, cut, copy
paste, etc. On the second row I have the font and font
size, bold, italics, etc., etc., including "Tables and
Borders." When I click on "Tables and Borders" rather
than being able to use that feature of Word, a duplicate
toolbar line appears. I hope that helps to explain my
problem. If not let me know. Thanks.
