Re: Convert Word 2000 Doc to .pdf

It was certainly not part of Word, but of Acrobat (though some Adobe
products did have elements of it). As you clearly don't use it often, why
not go for a free replacement such as PrimoPDF or more useful tool like
SnagIt (not free but there's a trial)?

It's been so long since these programs were installed, I can't recall
if the Adobe PDF Maker program was part of Word, or was part of an
Adobe application. Do you know?

If there is no 'printer' driver related to PDF construction
available. it seems likely that your PDF creation software is not
installed correctly. Re-install it.

When I try to convert a Word 2000 document to an Adobe .pdf document
for emailing, it "hangs" about half way through the initial
conversion ("printing") and the Word progrram stops responding. Any
ideas how to correct this problem, or what I should look for? (I
did check the "printers" available and did NOT see anything that
looked like it was a .pdf writer.)
