Hi Joe,
Dell image expert can save files in a variety of graphics
formats including JPEG and BMP. If the person creating
the file linked rather than embedded the graphic then
it may not have accompanied the .DOC file. If they
used a 'non standard' format for the graphic (also
possible) then you wouldn't see it unless the Dell software
was on your PC as well.
Ask the folks who created the document to open the document
copy the graphic and repaste it using Edit=>Paste Special
and choose a format such as JPEG or GIF or BMP.

I recently got a word doc with a Dell image expert file embedded. I'm using
word 97. How do I view it?
Thanks in advance <<
