When you open the file using Word 2003, what happens? Does Word say that it
doesn't recognize the format? Does it say that the file is corrupted or
damaged? I.e., what is happening that's making you need an error remedy?
What error message or results are you seeing?
Are you sure the problem is on your end? Word XP files present no challenges
or problems when opened from Word 2003, and vice versa. The two formats are
quite similar.
