The MS Word viewer should work in Windows XP
(assuming you have admin rights to install).
Can you open the same document in Windows Wordpad?
(Start=>All Programs=>Accessories?)

I just downloaded from the Microsoft website Word Viewer
97-2000 so that I can view a very important document that
was created with Word 97. It apparently wont work with XP
but Im not sure. It is telling me when I attempt to
install the program with the download I got that it is
not proper for DOS or Microsoft Windows Apps. Any Ideas
anyone? <<
