Trial version - can't save document to floppy

I don't intend on buying the full version of Office. I
have been using the trial version since we bought the
computer one month ago. I now have the problem of not
being able to access my documents in Word. I can see
them, but I cannot email them to work or save to floppy
so that I can use the documents somewhere else.

Argh.

Can anyone help me? MS can't (not unless i pay) and the
store where i purchased it can't (so they say).
