    Quentin,

    Supposedly, these microsoft.public groups have microsoft "vip"s roaming them
    and answering questions. I've seen very little of that in this group.

    I did a couple quick searches on the net and in microsoft's reference pages.
    Basically, it looks like tou'll have to buy a utility for doing this work.
    One I found is called PDF Convert which sold for $99 but claimed to be able
    to convert a fair number of filetypes. It even claimed it could maintain
    the appearance of the document, I don't know that it means it creates an
    equivalent tables structure or not. For what it's worth, here's the link
