Then install a printer driver (the generic text driver from Windows will suffice for a test) and set it as the Windows default. Test again now.

Then yes i have the printer installed on my pc. It is no longer accessible
though.

When i click File Print I am returned to the document with no response
printer wise
When i click the Quick Print button i receive following error
Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup

No, "locally installed printer" means that the driver is installed on your
machine (not on a network). You don't have to have a printer attached to the
computer. If you are printing to a network printer, you still need to have
the driver installed on *your* machine.
