Run Regedit and delete the Word DataKey.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\version number\Word\Data

It will recreate itself when Word is restarted.

Hi Terry,

I have done the following:

Ran Detect and Repair diagnostics in Word Help - no luck.

Performed a Full System scan with Norton Anti-Virus yesterday.

Ran SpyBot v. 1.5.2 updated today.

Ran Uniblue RegisterBooster 2 today

Ran Advanced System Optimizer By Systweak, Inc. today.

Rebooted computer.

Opened Word 2003.

Clicked on Tools on the Main Menu and still Tools would not open or drop down.

Would uninstalling Word 2003 and reinstalling Word do any good? Coould this
be a Normal.dot file problem?

What's next?
