They're there by default in Word 2003. Perhaps you have removed them as
excess?

If you see it in Word 2003, maybe you have added to the menu yourself? You
can edit the context sensitive menus just like other menus - though they
can be tricky to work out which menu is the one you want to edit. But a
clue will be that cut/copy/paste will be missing whereas the majority of
the menus have those. I always delete them from all my menus and only
every use the keyboard shortcuts.

I've been highlighting misspelled words, copying them, and pasting them
into
my browser for definitions for years. This is a new problem I'm having
at a
new work place, which is why I thought it might be a settings situation.
However, I have been experimenting and have noted that when I go into the
options area under spelling and grammer and unselect "check spelling as
you
type" then the cut/copy/paste selection appears when I right click after
highlighting. This has never happened to me before, I was always able to
right click on a highlighted word (misspelled or otherwise) and select
copy.
However, this is the first time I've had to change my settings to do
this.
Any suggestions?

There has never been an option to Cut/Copy/Paste when you right-click on
a
mis-spelled word. It is not part of the context sensitive spelling menu.

Did you ever get a better answer to this? I have been trying to
highlight
a
misspelled word and then right click on it but it doesn't show me cut,
copy
or paste.
