Almost certainly you have either an incompatible or corrupt printer driver or an incompatible legacy add-in. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm for help diagnosing your problem.

Thanks. Found it and deleted it. No improvement.
Summary:
Running in safe mode (/a) Word is fully functional.
Running Word normally after deleting Normal.dotm does not improve anything.
Now what ?
