Re: Word 2007 gives corrupt error on opening

This may be the same problem reported by J.C. Johnson. Has Windows Update
recently installed any new updates unattended?

Since last few days we are receving issues from 5 global offices that
one or another Word 2007 files are getting corrupted and unable to
recover
it. We already scanned for spyware as well for any virus but no luck. Gone
through the KB listed in 918429 but still no luck. This problem has
occured
to all who are using Office 2007. Is there any critical flaw or
vulnerabilities discovered in MS word 2007, should we stop using word
2007,
PLease guide as this would be a serious issue of losing word files that
are
unrepairable.
