When upgrading from Office 2000 to Office 2003 (by performing an upgrade
and
uninstalling 2000 then installing 2003), the following happens when trying
to
open a word document.

1. If no Office Apps are running, opening a word document will start Word,
with no document loaded, or blank template.

2. If Word is launched first, and the document is selected it opens
correctly.

3. If Outlook and Word are running, you cannot open a word document
without
closing Outlook.
