Well a folder is not written in Word 2000. Word created documents which are saves as files with and extension .doc. These are stored in Folders created by Windows. Word 2003 will open .doc files that were created in previous versions of Word. So all you need to do is transfer the files from one PC to the other.
Open Windows Explorer and drag and drop the doc files from My Documents or whichever folder you store your docs, and drop them onto the memory stick. On the new computer do the reverse: drag the doc files from the memory stick into My Documents using Windows Explorer again.
Double-clicking on any of these transferred documents should launch Word2003 and display the documents for reading or editing.

Hi:
By using "Micro Vault, Virtual Expander," I bakced up some folders which were
written by Word 2000. This is my first computer and mostly used.
However, when I tried to look at those files by clicking Icon on the second computer,
the box popping up in the middle of the screen, 'Word 2003,' not 'Word 2000.'
Hence, on the second computer I am not able to access the folder written by Word 2000
on the first computer.
My question is:
How am I able to look at the files written by Word 2000 on the second computer?
Thanks for your help in advance.
