Unwanted message about clipboard when closing Word

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Lately if I've put even a single paragraph on the clipboard and try to
close Word, I get the message, "You have put a large amount of text on
the clipboard, do you want the text to be available to other
applications after you quit Word?"

This is unnecessary. is there a way to prevent this message from
appearing?

Thanks,
Larry
