Word 2003 crashes when switching between open docs

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I am having this same problem.
As directed below, I cleared the "Windows in Taskbar option" and this
has stopped the problem.

Any other solutions ?

Try this: Tools, options, view and clear the windows in
taskbar option. This might stop the crashing but it does
not address the issue of Word crashing when this option is
checked.

I'm using Windows XP Profession o/s and Word 2003 Professional (SP1).
When I
have 2 or 3 documents open and switch from one doc to another doc by
clicking
on the taskbar, Word crashes.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening.
