For those of you who don't see "Windows XP Hotfix - KB885250" under your
add/remove programs list, it may still be there.

Go to the windows update page and list the installed updates and see if it
lists it there.

To remove the Hotfix when its not showing under add/remove you need to
download the file, then under the windows command prompt type in the
following:

WindowsXP-KB885250-x86-ENU/uninstall

this should manually remove the hotfix.
