I'm glad to see that others are having this problem too. I'm an IT
problem solver at a small company. My boss has been yelling for 3 days
now saying we will stop using the network if I can't fix it.
We use a Win 98SE server and have about 12 Win XP users connected to it
for data access. nobody can save as in any of their work in Office XP,
(Excel, Word, PPT) They are driving me crazy blaming me for everything.
The only thing I've got them doing that you might try that works is, I
created them a local folder on there desktop where they can "Save As"
to. Then they copy and paste the documents to the server. This works
great. But it's annoying. No problems with moving files or accessing
files. only saving them to a new name or folder through Office XP. MS
needs to fix this soon!
