sad to inform you that aftr patches and deleting all the tmp files. The error
still occurs.
All the PCs (i have more than 3 PCs facing the same problem) are running on
XP with SP1 installed.
Office 2000 is installed onto all htese PCs.
When only office 2000 installed. The error occurs.
Then i install SR-1 patch for the office2000. But, the same problme arises
again.
Then i install SP3 for the office2000 and the problem still stays. And it is
worst with SP3 for office2000. Because, everytime i open a word file, i keeps
on coming out messages saying that the file is link (which i am 100%
postitive that it is not link with any other file or data).
I have seperate all the 3 progress at an interval and making sure that all
tmp files are deleted for each stage. But the problem still stays.
Please advice and needed help badly as more and more users are complaining
the same problem on word.
Thanks
