Jayne,

I'm dealing with the same frustrating problem. The following is the offical
responce I received from Nagendra (Microsoft Consumer Support for Business
Applications), and is dated 9/10/2004:

"It is true that it would not be wise to uninstall Windows XP SP2
now.....Yes Microsoft is working on bringing out a patch to resolve this
problem. Lets wait till the patch is released."
