Hi Graham,

If changes have been made to your Normal.dot then you should only encounter this message when you exit Word or utilize the Save All command.

How are you saving the document? Are you clicking the Save command or are you exiting Word and saving the document when prompted?

Did you perhaps customize your toolbar/menu bar and add the Save All command? Or are you holding Shift and clicking File/Save All?

Aside from the above, do you use Norton AV? If so then go to Norton Options and in the Miscellaneous section turn off "Enable Office Plug-in".

If you are not exiting Word or using Save All then that should be investigated as well since it could be a macro virus attempting to replicate itself in all open all documents.
