A posting here some months ago reported exactly the same problem,
i.e., menus start scrolling, windows open, text disappears, etc. with
no one touching mouse or keyboard. It's as if some mad macro had
suddenly taken over the system. The advice suggested to that poster
was to check if the microphone was turned on. They reported that it
wasn't and that was not the source of the problem. I am witnessing the
identical scenario and am wondering if anyone has figured it out.
