Hi Erik,

I'm glad to hear the problem has been resolved.

I know there are a few issues in Speech and the Handwriting services
so perhaps removing Speech and the languages in the language settings
finally rectified the problem. Do you recall if you removed Speech,
rebooted, removed the language, and then rebooted? It could be English
speech was trying to use the Danish language and it took the removal
of both (or something along those lines) to rectify the issue.

Although I suspect this may be one of those unexplained mysteries of
Word. <g>
