Re: Synchronize Issue

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Is this a problem of nk.bin?

The bigger question is "is this a real problem in any way?" Why do you care
if the time can't be sync'd to 2003? Do you have a time machine that you
plan to use?

What access point? Am I supposed to know what you mean by that?!

And what *time* did you set on the server PC? We really, really can't
read
your mind, trust me. If you set the time near midnight and the time zones
on the PC and Windows CE are set significantly different, it's possible
that
everything is correct and the difference in day is simply the difference
between the PC being set near midnight on 12/31/2004 and using a far-west
time zone, and the Windows CE device on Pacific Time from the west coast
of
the US. YOU HAVE TO TELL US EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM.

You'll have to tell us. There are a number of registry settings for the
Time Server when it is used as a client, which is what it *sounds* like
[quoted text clipped - 30 lines]
as
1 Jan 2005 and time as 12:00PM.

I have SYMBOL AP MODEL NO 5131.
Time I set is 15:23 GMT Date I set is 4 Feb 2003 in NTP server.
NTP server is connected to AP.
After setting this time and date, AP get sync with NTP.

In the Mobile UNIT the time is GMT based.

As I said,
If I set any time before 1 Jan 2005, the Mobile UNIT does not get sync.
I have checked the time of AP when I set time before 1 Jan 2005 in NTP.
The time & date gets sync with NTP.

But the MOBILE UNIT shows 00:00 GMT and Date 1 Jan 2005 and above I
mentioned
I set time and Date.

Is this a problem of nk.bin?
Are there any settings for time handling in WIN CE?
