Re: Synchronize Issue

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

You'll have to tell us. There are a number of registry settings for the
Time Server when it is used as a client, which is what it *sounds* like
you're doing. One of the settings relates to the maximum error which a sync
operation will correct. If the time difference between the server device
and the Windows CE client device is more than that difference, no correction
is applied. Remember, we can't read your mind. You have to tell us
everything you know about the problem, including what you have built into
the operating system, who is a server and who is a client, what sort of sync
you're talking about, etc.!

Friends,

I have WLAN PCMCIA card and WIN CE devices bSqaure and Crete also has Win
Mobile devices
Hp IPAQ, datalogic.

When I set AP time before 1January 2005, the Mobile Unit doesn't get
synchronized for bSquare Board.
And for others devices Crete( WIN CE), HP iPaq & Datalogic(both WIN
MOBILE)
the time gets synchronized.

Why it doesnot get syn with bSquare Board despite having WIN CE as same
WIN
CE in Crete gets
syn with AP's time?

Friends,

Is any setting required in bsp some macro or something so that this
problem
of sync can be overcome?

I am looking for the solution as I am not able to understand why in one
win
ce device it sync with NTP while in other device it works differently.

Can anybody put some light on this issue?
