Hello
I have the same problem as Paolo and would like to implement the solution
with RequestDeviceNotifications and NULL.
But what I found so far is that I only get the USB mouse notifications if
there is no USB keyboard connected.
If I connect a USB mouse I get notification for DEVCLASS_STREAM_GUID.
If I connect a USB keyboard I get notifications for DEVCLASS_STREAM_GUID and
DEVCLASS_KEYBOARD_GUID.
If I connect a USB mouse after a USB keyboard was connected I get no
notification.
So is there a method to always be notified, when a USB mouse is connected or
disconnected?
TIA

Yes, I want to use RequestDeviceNotifications but I read that I
must define a GUID (IClass) for mouhid to receive notification. Is
it correct ?
You may set it to NULL to receive notification about any device
connected to your system.
