Thanks for taking the time to reply.
My thought were more along the lines of understanding where the board or
design specific IO is defined in the Platform Builder process then using IDA
to compare both compiled versions of board specific file resources. The code
from my development board could be used to understand the points of interest
in the resulting compiled resource then that knowledge could be applied to
the navigation unit's matching resource to understand it's IO usage.
My thoughts were limited to simple things like Vusb detect and so on. I'd
not really considered that the memory sub-system could be radically different.
The specification of the navigation units from China are almost a mirror
image of each other and mimic most development boards. I (maybe incorrectly)
assumed the manufacturer has not strayed far from the reference design in
generating their product.
Again, thanks for the comments. Any other thoughts would be most welcome as
I am just beginning what would appear to be a long journey.
