I should have been more explicit - I've added all the QFE's up to January
2008 and I've done a clean sysgen.

I would try a "Clean Sysgen" as you've applied new QFEs. I believe
that after a QFE installation and some Catalog Changes a "Clean
Sysgen" is required to correctly build the system.
