Hum not easy to answer this on a Microsoft newsgroups ;-)
Why people just takes time to develop other Operating Systems while there is already a good one called Windows.
Why people are developing IDE/compiler while there is already Visual Studio ?
Anyway I don't want to start a philosophical discussion here and I am already using Visual in my daily work but it's good to have alternatives
