wince500 cf card and sd card

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I am running wince500 on a 255 processor and have a number of issues;

1) after a suspend resume if I try to copy or delete a file from the CF card
I get a dialog box asking me to confirm and when I do the box disappears as
expected but the file doesn't delete or copy and I get a partial lock up, I
can access the start button and control panel etc but when I try to resume
the explorer window the system then locks up and sometime I get the egg
timer. If I then remove the card I get a dialog box with a message like
cannot delete copy of xxx.lnk, error code 1609. The debug messages from
the build when I remove the card are shown below;

2) The other problem I have is that if I use an SD card, it is not
recognised it appears in the control panel storage panel applet but will not
allow a format etc and it doesn't appear as a folder in explorer, also if
both the CF card and sd card are inserted at the same time then neither is
visible in the explorer window (I don't see any of these problems on a
wince420 OS that I can install on the same hardware)
