Hi ,

Let me explain what all I have done..
I have a developement board and then I got the BSP .
I opened PB and then File->ManageCatalogue Items, then I imported the cec
file which come with the BSP.


Now I did New Platform , I which I selected the BSP ( whose cec file I have
exported)...and then finish..
At this point I should be able to do "sysgen" right ? But this is not
working ..
Also I tried adding driver from Catalogue Item ->Third Party->BSP
still no luck,,,

the same thing work on my colleagues setup..
Please help ...

But wait, tools only means that you can't possibly sysgen. Sysgen will
build the OS using the files that you didn't install, so of course it
doesn't work. A BSP can only be build as part of a bigger OS project.

Yes I have cec file which I import from "Manage Catalogue Items" ..
I am re-installing PB as I think I have installed tools only.
I guess Sysgen will be disabled in tools only mode ?

Hi,

I want to built a WinCE 5.0 BSP for a target board .
Afer doing all the steps i see that in

BuildOS -> Sysgen is grey ( I cant select to do a sysgen).

Please suggest what could be wrong ?
