Sort of - essentially by bypassing ActiveSync completely! There are some notes on this in Mike Hall's blog, but the easiest way is to use a utilitly from OpenNetCF called CEDbgSetup - it copies across the CoreCon files you need to your target and launches them, also sets up a Manual Server startup for PlatMan. Easiest way I know to get CoreCon and Platman working over a LAN - I'm sure it used to be on the OpenNetCF site or possibly Chris Tacke's own site, but right now I can't find it.
On the target I'm working with, ActiveSync has a side-effect which is sometimes helpful, sometimes disastrous! Once you have established an ActiveSync connection over serial or USB, it then seems to use any TCP/IP route it can find to the host. The plus side of this is that all you need to do is set up a standard ActiveSync connection over serial/USB, but you get download/debug at LAN speeds. The downside is if your app starts doing things like modifying IP settings! I don't know if all target implementations of ActiveStync behave like this - I guess it depends on how the routing table gets set up and whether the IP address that ActiveSync uses for the serial/USB connection falls within your LAN address.
Hope this helps.
