Hello
It's a S29GL NOR flash memory. Yes, it allows random reads and writes. It
is
not good for its lifetime to write at one address before erasing a block.
But
I thing it's usual with flash memories.
At now, I can see a folder, which expose my internal flash. But I can't
allow to write to address, if it was used. Thus there are some problems,
mostly with secondary FAT - it does not exist. I thing, that FAT system is
not good for flash memories. I don't understand why the flash is erased
three
times if it is formatted. I'm worried about developing my own file system,
it's for a long time, I suppose. I've never read, that somebody has to
write
his own file system driver for a flash. It seems, that everybody use FAT.
But
how?
Are there any possibility to find the source code for MS FAL? I thing it
would be good for debbuging and understanding the principles of FMD
functionality.
