Cyrillic support in WinCE 4.20

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi,

I want to add Cyrillic font support in WinCE 4.2.
The following is what I did:

1. Go to the Platform | Settings option, choose Locale.
2. Add the Russia from the list to the system.
3. Select Russian as the Default Language.
4. Build the OS.
5. Download the OS to the mobile device.
6. Install a thirt-party Cyrillic input driver.

Now, if I open a Word document, I can enter Cyrillic characters without any
problems.

7. Install Russian on my PC.
8. Write a small "Hello World" program, enter Russian instead of "Hello
World".
9. Build the application and download it to the mobile device.
10. Run the application.

This time the application doesn't show Russian characters but some
unreadable characters.
Any ideas on how to show Cyrillic characters on WinCE 4.2 applications?
Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
James
