Hi Jack,

We were facing the problem, we are using Serial KITL so response time
is slow. SO I have changed the server setting time (6 min)as well as
client side timing (10 min).

flash, Our OS image is downloaded to RAM and runs from RAM every time.We
can debug and use the remote tools with the kitl.However,we met a trouble
while using the CETK.

In the windows embedded CE test kit ( CETK) window, we clicked the
"connect"-> "default device"-> "OK" button agin. No prompt dialog box
appeared.

The Platform Builder output window prompted as follow:

Windows Embedded CE Test Kit Server", for example:

At the same time,in the Platform Builder Output window prompted the

Some time later,in the Windows Embedded CE Test Kit window,the item
"WindowsCE(ARMV4I) [Detecting peripherals]" changed its name to
"WindowsCE(ARMV4I)" ,and there was another item "Windows Embedded CE Test
Catalog" below it.

To expand the "Windows Embedded CE Test Catalog" item, a test tree listed
as follows(just a example,not all test item listed ):

We had not done any one test. 3 minutes later,the "WindowsCE(ARMV4I)" item
became "WindowsCE(ARMV4I)[Disconnected]" .For example:

Here,we right clicked any test item ,for example "Audio","Bluetooth"...,the
prompted menu was disabled. And we could not do any test.

But in the Platform Builder window, we could use the remote tools(the remote
tool file viewer could connect to the target device,and we could see the
folders and files in the target device ) .

In the Windows Embedded CE Test Kit window,we tried to connect to the target
device as the option mentioned above.we always failed.

We configured the device properties like the following(the remote tools and
the CETK were the same):

Transport: KITL transport for windows CE

Startup : KITL Bootstap Server

Only this combination setting could work for our device.As we used other
settings(for example,Transport: KITL transport for windows CE;Startup :CESH
Server for Windows CE),the target device could not be connected.

Could you give me a way to resolve the CETK disconnected problem in details?
