Booting Windows CE from CF Card

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi all,

we are using Windows CE 5.0 on a PC104 board. The os image (nk.bin) is copied to a CompactFlash card and started using the loadcepc utility. Everything works well, as long as i'am using a CF card with only 32 MB. If i switch to a larger card with 256 or 512 MB, Windows CE hangs on the "jumping to 0x..." screen.
No errors or further information (e.g. boot me messages) is sent through the serial port so i have no clue where to find the problem.
What puzzles me is the fact, that the same image works on a small CF Card, but not on a larger one. Does anyone has a solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Sebastian Petters
